Introducing...

Ace Cannon Mitchell

Yes...Alex has decided to change his name.




He announced it a week ago.




He was feeling left out because Joey got to "change" his name to Joseph.

I have put off letting the rest of the world know...because....

Well, because I thought it would pass...



It hasn't.


First, he started correcting us every time we called him (gasp) "Alex"...

Then, his preschool papers started coming home with "Ace" printed neatly at the top...

THEN...his preschool, primary, and computer class teachers all started asking me if we have always called him Ace...because...




Well, because...he has told each of them that they are the ONLY PERSON who doesn't call him Ace. (they do now!)


Oh, one last thing... He has decided to keep "Alex" as a nickname... So...if you accidentally call him that, just tell him you are using his nickname (it totally works).
