To do lists.

Do you ever have one of those days that you feel like you are actually getting through your to-do-list? I almost never do. Today was an exception, and for a few hours this morning I was patting myself on the back at all the progress I was making.

Get everyone ready for school--check.
Dishes---check.
Sweep the floor--check.
Cub scout planning meeting--check.
ETC...

I think it went to my head a little, and I got a little cocky. I decided to take a short break to make my hair look nice and put on a little make-up.
That's when Sophie decided to work on her own to-do-list....

She accomplished hers in MUCH less time.

Undo everything mom has done--check.
Poop my pants--check.
Pull stuff out of drawers--check.
Throw crackers all over the floor--check.
Find a red sharpie--CHECK!

Thanks for bringing me back to reality "demon baby" (that's Jesse's nickname for her......today it fits).

Oh gosh that cracks me up too much! On a lighter note, she didn't draw on the furniture and walls. Perhaps tomorrow :). (For your sanity I hope not.)

Haha!! I love how proud she is of herself!! I guess like Heather said -- at least she kept it to her & not walls and/or furniture!

That is soooo awesome. A little boy close to me did the same thing but purposefully only around the eyes. Then, he proceeded to tell everyone, "Power Rangers, yahhh." What goes on in those little minds is so mysterious.
Hope you all aren't freezing to death, and thanks for the great laughs with your Christmas card. It's always a highlight.
