Here's what has been going on around here--in 50 pictures or less. (Sorry for the plethora...I did narrow it down from about 500 however....so, you're welcome.)
1. WE PLAYED A LOT OF FOOTBALL. (by WE I mean THEY, of course)
Jake--#32
It's not an illusion...#99 is REALLY three times Jake's size.
One of my favorite pictures is just like this one (from a few years back) of Jesse and his friend Clay. Now I have one of Jesse and Gavin too! :)
Jesse, right after he caught an interception!
Getting congrats from Dad on interception. :)
And that's my son's butt in the air--yep, I'm a proud Mama! (way to take him down!)
Jesse's team celebrating after winning the CHAMPIONSHIP! Both teams made it to the championship game--so exciting!! It was great to have Jesse and all of his friends end their 7 year youth football career on such a high! 2. Jake turned 13!! Pretend there is an awesome picture here of his birthday celebration--but of course, I don't have any. Picture or not, we did celebrate. And Jake, of course, continues to be totally awesome! 3. We celebrated Halloween. (If you don't know how I feel about Halloween, you are free to check out my post from last year...) First things first. I sewed Drew's costume. From scratch. And I don't sew. Jason thought that this unusual event deserved to be recorded in pictures. This is me saying, "Really?!? Can you see what my hair looks like?? Do you really think that it needs to be immortalized forever??" Pretty sure that is a direct quote. So here we have a $10 Walmart magician...a church suit that we added a hat to (voila! Gangster!)...and the HANDMADE Waluigi costume!! The crowing jewel was of course our SASSY WITCH! I wish I could take all the credit for this costume, but my sis-in-law Jessica made this awesome tu-tu for Lolli before she was born. All I did was tie some tulle around a $3 dollar hat!! Lolli and Annie (my totally awesome niece--who LOVES me!! yep, I'm bragging! And I love you too, Anners!) 5. Lolli continues to be ADORABLE. And she continues to have adorable shoes! That's about it! You're all caught up! Until next week when we get back from our trip to Hawaii! Aloha! :)
